Terms and conditions
Last updated:
Using this site and submitting a request means accepting these terms. We have tried to keep them plain.
What this site does
This site introduces the workshop, the instruments and the services, and gives you a way to submit a request or book an appointment.
Submitting a request is not in itself a contract or a commitment to carry out work. Work begins once a quote has been sent and you have accepted it.
Prices
The prices shown on the site are starting points, not final prices.
The final price of any service is set after the instrument has been inspected. For repair and restoration, the scope is determined and announced only after that inspection.
Prices may change without notice, but a quote issued to you stays valid until its stated expiry.
Consultation appointments
A consultation is for seeing and hearing the instrument. It commits you to nothing.
If you cannot make your appointment, please tell us in advance so the slot can go to someone else.
Services and warranty
Every service carries its own stated warranty period, shown on the quote and on that service’s page.
The warranty covers the work itself. It does not cover damage from impact, humidity, heat, poor transport or work done by someone else.
Going out of tune, string wear and seasonal movement are normal and are not faults in the work.
Care plans
A care plan is a one-year term with the services and follow-up intervals set out on the care plan page.
The services of a plan apply only to the instrument the plan was taken out for.
We arrange the follow-up appointments. Services not used during the term do not carry over to another term.
Trade-in and upgrade
The estimate you receive after filling in the trade-in form is preliminary and based on your own description.
The final value is set only after we have seen the instrument and assessed its actual condition.
An instrument offered for trade-in must be yours and free of any legal restriction on transfer.
Certificate of authenticity
Certificates are issued for instruments made in this workshop and can be checked through the verification page.
A certificate belongs to the instrument, not to its owner; it transfers with the instrument.
Your account
Keeping your password safe is your responsibility. If you think someone has reached your account, tell us.
The details you enter must be correct — calling you and sending your quote depend on them.
Site content
The photographs, texts, name and mark of the workshop belong to the Shahnazi violin workshop, and commercial reuse requires written permission.
Sharing links to pages is free.
Limitation of liability
We try to keep the site accurate, but typing errors and out-of-date information can happen; the issued quote is what governs.
Our liability in any case is limited to the amount paid for that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Disputes are settled first by discussion and, if necessary, before the competent Iranian authorities.
