This page explains what the Shahnazi violin workshop collects about you, why, how long it is kept and what say you have over it. If it is not listed here, we do not collect it.
What we collect
What you type into our forms: your name, phone number, email (optional) and the text of your request. On the booking form, the time you suggest; on the trade-in form, what you tell us about your current instrument — model, year and condition.
If you create an account: the same name and phone number, plus a password that is stored hashed and cannot be read back.
Aggregate, anonymous visit statistics: which pages were opened and from which country. These set no cookies and are not tied to you personally.
We do not collect payment details, card numbers or national ID numbers.
Why we collect it
To answer your request: to call you, arrange an appointment, send a quote and tell you how the work is going.
To keep a record of the work done on your instrument — the record that the service warranty and care plans rest on.
To understand which parts of the site are useful and which are confusing.
How long we keep it
Requests that never became an order or a service: up to two years, then deleted.
The service history of an instrument and its certificate of authenticity: for as long as the instrument and its owner need it. That history is part of the instrument’s identity.
Your account: for as long as you want it. On your request, the account and the data attached to it are deleted.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except: the SMS provider that sends your tracking code and appointment reminders, and the email provider if you gave us an email address. They see only what is needed to deliver the message.
We do not sell, rent or hand your data to anyone for advertising.
If a competent legal authority formally requests information, we respond within the limits of the law.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
If you sign in, a sign-in token is stored in your own browser so you are not asked to log in every time. It stays on your device and is cleared when you sign out.
Your language choice is likewise kept in your own browser.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you.
You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
You can ask us to delete your account and the data attached to it — except the record that forms part of an instrument’s identity and certificate.
You can ask us to stop sending you reminders or notices.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted and passwords are stored hashed.
Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you.
Children
This site is not designed for children. If the student is under 18, the request should be submitted by a parent or guardian.
